Fabulous luxurious small hotel with courtyard infinity pool, great lakeside views towards temples and butler service/private chef. This is fantastic accommodation with ground floor, first floor and roof terrace for guest use in addition to bedroom with balcony. Just loved it here. It’s an absolute gem. Easy access to all historical sites in Anuradhapura - you’ll need transport which is easily arranged too.
We had the most wonderful stay at this charming little hotel in Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind and helpful hosts, who made us feel at home right away. Maybe the best hotel I ever had the luck to stay at! What a wonderful location. Our room was luxurious, with a great view from the bedroom over the lake. The lovely hosts are extremely friendly, the freshmade food is very delicious. We sincerely Hope to come back again. It’s a great place!
Everything was perfect! The location is outside the busy center of Anuradhapura, but close to the most famous attractions. The accommodation is truly beautiful! Designed by an architect with an eye for detail and the owner's family history! Even more beautiful in reality than in photos. It is not a cheap stay by Sri Lankan standards, but you definitely get value for your money. We alternated between more expensive and cheaper accommodations and we were very pleased! But above all, the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and their team is admirable! Many compliments to all. We were lucky enough to be the only guests for one day and were allowed to help prepare dinner for ourselves, what a wonderful experience! I can keep writing positive things, but even better is to experience it myself with them!!!
A wonderful place! We felt very comfortable and warmly welcomed. The hospitality is incredible, we received some tips for visiting the temples and our onward journey. The view of the lake and the temples is unique. The house is in a quiet location and unique. We would come back at any time and can only recommend it.
A lil paradise for an ideal break after a long car ride from Colombo.This place is a little gem, with only 3 bedrooms, located right on the lake with the stupas at the back.The hosts are wonderful, taking care of their guests and their property.The food is amazing.The architecture is based on a monastery.You can really feel at peace here, with a nice swimming pool.And the bedroom is big, with high ceiling , and large bathroom.We loved it.Thanks for the hospitality.
Spent 2 nights here of the 4 weeks in Sri Lanka, they turned to be the best and most comfortable place we stayed. My wife was in her first trimester and really benefitted from the kind and friendly advice and food adjustments. We had the "Mother" room and really enjoyed the size and quality of the bed and bathroom. The owners were lovely as was the operational manager.Also enjoyed the food!The access to the lake is great and its simply beautiful waking up here. At the same time, my wife is a bit tense when it comes to bugs and geckos and although this is hard to control, there was none of that in the bedroom and also not easy for them to come into. Obviously, due to the great architecture and the open bathroom, that was open and made for lovely showers and bird sounds, at least from my perspective

We had an amazing stay at Arachchi heritage for three nights this January. We stayed in two luxury suites upstairs and they were spacious and clean. The view of Thisa wewa and the stupa’s is tranquil. Staff were polite and went the extra mile to accommodate our requests. We managed to control the insect by leaving the bathroom door closed all the time and by leaving lights off when we opened the balcony door. We will be back. Thanks to Siri, Lakshika and Chamila.
Wondeful place neanche Anuradaphura. Atmosphere and design are really impressive and superb. Delicious local and continental food from the kitchen, beautiful pool in the garden. Rooms are very big, comfortable and well designed. Unforgettable lake and stupas view. A real paradise!

It’s run by a family, and not a hotel chain, and they employ locals from the area.

A unique experience that you will never forget.5 minutes from the ancient city of Anaradpura and just 45 minutes from a great safari experience at Wilpattu national park.Siri and his fabulous wife Chathu welcomed us into their unique home with love and openness. Chamila was also great and read our mind before we knew what we wanted!The food created by the two wonderful ladies in the kitchen was 5* homemade with love. We sat the family table for breakfast and dinner which was a special experience.Drinks served ice cold, just how we like it. Amazing place with a wonderful view from the villa and the room. There are only two guest rooms available and they were very spacious with a half outdoor bathroom. This hotel is definitely an unmissable little gem, perfectly located to visit Anuradhapura and it’s magnificent temples. Perfect service, very spacious room and outdoor bathroom. Perfect for a romantic getaway in Sri Lankan authenticity.
The water in the pool was after a downpour the day before (according to the owner) unfortunately "tilted" and so it could not be used. Which was unfortunately a bit of a shame given the midsummer temperatures. Staff super friendly and tried hard, lunch and dinner (there is also wine;-)) individually and spontaneously possible. Very nice roof terrace that was made available to us for dinner. Otherwise beautiful facility.
Such a hidden away gem in the Historic city of Anuradhapura. The most amazing thing about Arachchige Heritage is the breathtaking views. Amazing service and I Highly recomend it
Amazing! Miss Chathurika and her team go out of their way for their visitors. The lounge, dining area, the pool, all designed very well so there is a natural flow of air. The furniture is so beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms are huge and comfortable. But the best part of this hotel is the staff. They make it 5-star. The chef is flexible and makes the curry "not spicy" for you or make another sauce with the pasta. The gentleman will attend to your every need. And Chathurika lights up the room when she walks in. Reads her guests very well and makes sure everything rolls smoothly. A topteam! Go there!
A place that is worth the visit. The villa is surrounded by a lush environment. The staff is very friendly and kind and never misses a chance to serve you with the best. The food is worth the try and the special Bathala roti is a must to try. The villa is very clean and contains all the features for a peaceful stay.
If you like modern architecture, this the place to stay. Only 2 rooms. Without a doubt the nicest room we stayed in the last years. Nice pool good food. Staff very friendly.
